These pics are a bit backwards....Here is Luke right after Rafa was born. He has been very sweet with Rafa so far! Gives him many squeezes and kisses.

3 weeks early. 6 lbs 15 ounces. Thank-you for being early and small!
6 hour labour. Not bad! 2nd degree tear. Some hemmy's. Not as bad as Luke's birth. Rafa's head wasn't even coned. Recovery has been way better.

The ladies on my birth team were pregnant too! Amy was 5 weeks, Bethany around 16 weeks. A lot of womanly energy in the room! Dono tried not to laugh at all my low growling noises...good thing or his head may have been karate chopped off! I did not give birth in the water but went through the toughest part of labour in the pool...so wonderful...I let out a big sigh of relief as I stepped into the pool, it really helped with the pain. It was another great experience! Intense,l but so powerful & miraculous, it makes me want to have more kids everytime! However, the reality of the energy it takes to raise a child is setting in.
Taken the day before Rafa was born. We literally got everything together this day: taught Amy how to use camera, went over birth plan, packed our hospital bags...yeesh!
