But if you just use my words in Bible studies and don't work them into your life, you are like a dumb carpenter who built a house but skipped the foundation.

Do you ever feel silly when sharing God-type or Bible-type words with someone? My fear is that my words may sound too cliche, as in, "God is with you" or "You are God's son". Tonight I felt inclined to share these words with a friend, I even said, "God's favour rests upon you." I sincerely felt it, but felt like I should be an African-American if I'm to say such. Anyways later on, this friend mentioned how refreshing it was to hear such. It built my confidence in the next time I'm tempted to keep quiet. Once again, I was reminded of the power of our words. Words can grant someone that extra wind in their sail...so my friends, open your mouths and speak.
